Which type of licence should you apply for, in Manitoba?
In order to run a raffle on Funding Change, you will need to obtain a valid raffle licence.
There are two raffle licence types in Manitoba that can be obtained for running a raffle on our platform:
- Community Raffle Licence - Under 10k
- Raffle Licence - Over 10k
You will want to ensure that the licence type you are applying for is appropriate according to the expectations for your raffle.
There is a 3rd type of licence: 
RM (Rural Municipal) licenses are available in some locations.

LGCA Community Raffle Licence (Under $10k)

LGCA Limited Series Raffle Licence (Over $10)

Unlimited ticket sales revenue

Requires a separate bank account only for your raffle(s)

Incurs a 1% fee to the LGCA

Takes a bit longer to obtain (~4-6 weeks) 
Rural Municipal (RM) licence
- 
Only for Rural Municipalities

This licence is the fastest and easiest to obtain

Limit of Prize Value @ $3000 (total ticket sales for a 50/50 limited at $6000)
