LGCA Licensing & Time Frames

Eligibility
If you haven't ran a raffle within the last 3 years with LGCA licence, you must apply for eligibility to get the option to apply for a Charitable Gaming raffle licence

Under 10k Licence

• • • Maximum $10,000 in total ticket sales
    • Takes 2-3 weeks
    • Great for small organizations and first raffles

Over 10k Licence

• • • Takes 3-4 weeks
    • LGCA charges a 1% fee
    • Requires separate, raffle only bank account

Ticket Tiers

The most common ticket tiers for a 50/50 are
1/$5, 3/$10, 10/$25, 50/$50

For Prize Raffles, it can often go a bit higher:
1/$10, 3/$20, 10/$50, 25/$100

Seed or Guarantee?

It's very important that you have a clear understanding of the difference between a Seed or Guarantee if you plan to use either.
Both will solve the problem of the $0 starting pot, but in their own special way.
